IALP was founded in May 2001 for the purpose of providing
an accreditation program for lean manufacturing training and
implementation based on the Toyota Production System (TPS).
In April 2004, IALP joined together with Bowling Green State
University, College of Technology (Bowling Green, Ohio) to further this
endeavor.
The principals of IALP are Leroy Morrow, Roy Jay and Mike Hoseus. These individuals are former Toyota managers and collectively represent 40 plus years of skills in The Toyota Way. Each of the principals maintains their own consulting business bringing the combined resources together under the IALP umbrella as needed. IALP provides placement of TPS certified practitioners based on client need and scheduling.
